Terms & Conditions

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Studio Segan ("we", "us") covering our website (studiosegan.com) and our products Segan AI Agent and Segan Bark. By using the site or the products, you accept them. If you're signing up on behalf of a business, you confirm you're allowed to bind that business.

What we provide

• Segan AI Agent — an AI salesperson for Facebook Pages. It reads your product catalog from your website, replies to buyers in Messenger, bargains within limits you set, captures Cash-on-Delivery orders, and reports to you on WhatsApp.
• Segan Bark — a macOS app that turns speech into clean, paste-ready text. Transcription runs on your device; optional AI cleanup uses the cloud and can be switched off.
• Studio services — design, email retention systems, and automation work, delivered under a separate written proposal. Where a specific guarantee (such as a beat-the-fee guarantee) applies, it's the one stated in that written agreement.

Segan AI Agent — plans, trials, and your responsibilities

Plans & billing

• Plans are billed monthly at the prices listed on the pricing section, with a 7-day free trial and a one-time setup fee (waived on annual billing). Annual billing includes two months free.
• You can cancel any time; service runs to the end of the paid period. We don't do surprise invoices.
• Conversation volumes are per plan. If you consistently exceed them we'll talk to you about the right plan — we won't silently cut you off mid-month.

Your side of the deal

• You must own or control the Facebook Page and the website catalog you connect, and your use must follow Meta's platform policies. Segan AI Agent is an independent product; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
• Your product listings, prices, and claims are yours. The agent sells from your catalog — keeping that catalog lawful and accurate is your responsibility, and fulfilling the orders it captures is too.
• No illegal goods, scams, spam, or harassment through the agent. We can suspend service that abuses buyers or the platform.

AI, honestly

The agent is good, but it's AI: it can occasionally misread a question, quote imperfectly, or phrase things oddly. You set the bargaining floor and you can take over any chat from WhatsApp at any moment. You should review captured orders before fulfilment. We don't guarantee any specific sales results — anyone who does is selling you smoke.

Segan Bark — beta terms

• Segan Bark is currently a private beta, free while it lasts. At launch, paid tiers apply as listed on the pricing section; you can cancel anytime.
• Beta software is provided as-is — it may have rough edges, and features can change or be removed as we build.
• Transcripts (including AI-cleaned ones) can contain mistakes. Proofread anything important before you send it.
• Don't use Bark to record people where you don't have the right to. That one's on you.

Ownership

The site, our software, and our designs belong to Studio Segan. Your content stays yours — your catalog, your messages, your dictations. You give us just enough licence to process that content to run the service for you, and nothing more. Feedback you send us can be used to improve the products.

Privacy

How we handle data — including on-device transcription in Bark, Messenger data in the AI Agent, and how to request deletion — is covered in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Ending the relationship

You can stop using the products any time (and ask us to delete your data). We can suspend or end service for breach of these terms, unlawful use, or platform-policy violations — with notice and a chance to fix it where that's reasonable.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill), and our total liability for any product is capped at the fees you paid us for it in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded (like fraud). Free and beta products are provided without warranties of any kind.

Changes & law

We may update these terms as the products evolve; the date at the top always tells you the current version, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
